If I have to choose between watching a movie at the cinema or at home, I will choose to watch a movie at home. The biggest reason is because I’m an introvert person. I don’t really enjoy interacting with strangers. The other reason is that it is far more comfortable to watch a movie at home: I can wear what I want and lie down or sit down while watching the movie, it’s all up to me. Moreover, I can pause the movie when I need to use the toilet, while I can’t do this if I go to the cinema. I can keep replaying the scenes I really like as well. Lastly, I can laugh and cry as loud as I want without any care in the world.
Just thinking of going to a cinema already tires me out. There was this one time when I went to a cinema to watch a movie, but it didn’t go well. The movie was great, but the environment wasn’t great at all. There was a kid crying. He cried from the start of the movie until the movie was finished. At that time, his parents didn’t comfort him at all. It was a terrible experience. Even though the movie was great, I didn’t enjoy watching the movie at all.
